After years of my son begging me to build him an animatronic I finally decided to try my hand at programming a servo on the Arduino Uno. It was surprisingly easy.
I only had to connect the power, ground, and data, then write some C code in the Arduino IDE.
I used some cut up cardboard boxes, hockey tape, and an extra wire to create a POC tiki mask.

I’m currently in the process of refactoring the code to be a bit more object oriented so that I can more easily manage multiple servos for things like eyes.
